Individuals struggle to efficiently manage and leverage their networks due to information overload, time constraints, and ineffective relationship management tools.
The goal
Create an AI-powered VUI (voice user interface) personal CRM (client relationship management) that simplifys network management by automatically organizing contacts, scheduling follow-ups, providing relevant insights and sending timely reminders.
Research
User interviews
To understand the key challenges professionals face in managing their networks, I conducted user interviews with individuals across various industries. The goal was to identify pain points and insights to shape the CRM features. I then organized the findings into a visual board to map out key opportunities and potential features for further releases:

The next step was mapping out a detailed user flow to visualize how users would interact with the CRM app through voice commands. This step was essential to define the structure of the experience, ensuring each action could be completed intuitively.
Design
Low-fidelity prototype
I developed a low-fidelity prototype that brought together the core features identified during research and user flow planning. The prototype focused on essential interactions prioritizing simplicity where key tasks — such as searching for contacts, setting reminders, and adding notes — were designed to be easily executed through voice commands.
Contact's profile screen breakdown
The contact profile screen, specifically, was designed to help users manage key details and interactions for each connection. The idea was to integrate voice interaction as a core feature — complemented by familiar interface elements — to ensure a smooth and intuitive experience. By enabling users to speak instead of type, the interface streamlines essential CRM tasks making relationship management faster and more effortless.
